Who we are?
Underground studio is a creative team of visual storytellers:
Claudia Hernandez from Mexico City, the Belgian photographer Jonathan Jallet and Bruno Castilla from Puebla.
Jonathan was travelling around the world with his camera when he arrives in Mexico for the first time in 2016, He immediately fell in love with the culture of the country and the warmness of Mexican people. He decided to stay here for a while and eventually met with Claudia with whom he fell in love. Both of them being photographers, it didnt take long before they decided to start a wonderful adventure together and that’s how Underground Studio was born.
Bruno, our director and filmmaker started his career in television in Puebla, before moving in Puerto Vallarta 8 years ago and eventually join our team. He will capture your union with a cinematic approach that will keep you speechless whether you decide our short Highlight film of Full Wedding film option. We specialize in weddings all around Mexico because love, is what we love. A wedding is a day full of joy and emotions and we always try to capture the best of it in our work.
We shoot in a candid photojournalism style mixed with some fine portraiture.

Combo Photo + Wedding Film
Our specialty, the Photo + Wedding Film Combo package, is the best option if for you the video is as important as the photos to remember your big day! You’ll have a team of 2 dedicated photographers and 2 dedicated filmmakers to tell the story of your wedding in a cinematic way.
To ensure we capture the essence of your special day, we offer our photo and wedding film packages for a minimum of 8 hours. Shorter coverage simply does not allow us the time needed to fully document the important moments and emotions that make your wedding day unforgettable.
While many photographers provide 10 to 12 hours of coverage, we find that for most destination weddings held at resorts or villas—especially those without a religious ceremony at a church—8 hours is generally sufficient. This timeframe allows us to begin with capturing the getting-ready photos and continue through to the end of the party.
Most venues have a curfew of 10 pm, making a 2 pm to 10 pm coverage ideal. This schedule ensures that we document every significant part of your day, from the preparation to the celebration.

How to book with US?
To secure your booking, we require a 35% retainer. The remaining balance will be due at least two weeks before your wedding date.
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll provide you with a wedding photography contract to review and sign.
We accept Visa and MasterCard for your convenience. However, if you prefer to save on transaction fees, we offer a 5% discount for payments made via ACH, Interac, or WISE.com, which is the best, safe and most cost-effective way to send money internationally, from your bank account or cards.
